A bit about me:

I am the Manager of Ocean Bridge and Education!

I grew up in the West Island of Montreal in a diverse cultural family (Quebecoise mother and Egyptian/Italian/Greek father)! We travelled a lot when I was young, allowing me to grow my love for the OCEAN! I did my undergrad in Environmental Biology, volunteered and group lead expeditions in Borneo, Malaysia and in Fiji, and these experiences allowed me to develop a true passion for environmental education. I then continued my own education by doing my master’s in Integrated Water Resource Management. I advocate for citizen science and Nature-Based Solutions when it comes to our water systems!

Ocean Wise est basé sur le territoire traditionnel et non cédé des peuples Salish de la côte, y compris les territoires des nations xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) et Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh). Nous travaillons à travers l'île de la Tortue et au-delà, soutenant les peuples autochtones dans leur travail essentiel de conservation des océans et de la biodiversité chaque fois que cela est possible ou lorsque nous y sommes invités.
