Help Kelp!

Invest a little time and learn more about kelp and our work to bring it back!

Our Mobile Programs include the portable Sea Dome (an immersive 360° experience) and our hands-on artifact stations to spark curiosity, connect learners to aquatic ecosystems, and inspire real-world conservation actions. Programs are facilitated by experienced educators and align with the Ocean Literacy Framework to ensure engaging, age-appropriate learning outcomes.

What we offer:

  • Sea Dome: A portable, inflatable dome featuring 360° 4K visuals that take audiences from the Arctic sea ice to tropical reefs and B.C. rivers—highlighting how ocean health, climate change, and daily life are interconnected.
  • Artifact Stations: Tactile, inquiry-driven stations featuring marine artifacts and interactive activities that encourage observation, discovery, and stewardship.

Why it matters

  • Multi-sensory experiences deepen understanding of aquatic habitats and biodiversity.
  • Direct, hands-on learning builds lasting connections and motivates conservation behavior.

Ocean Wise is based in the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We work across Turtle Island and beyond, supporting Indigenous peoples in their vital work on ocean conservation and biodiversity whenever possible or as we are invited to.
