Cooking workshop on sustainable seafood hosted by Chef Myryam August from the unsuccessful cookbook, with support from Ocean Wise Seafood expert, Kayla Menu-Courey.

Sustainable Flavors

On Friday, September 30, 2022, Ocean Wise youth ambassadors hosted a cooking workshop to grow awareness among Montrealers about the challenges facing the ocean.

They invite you to explore the “taste of sustainability” through a workshop in which you will learn about sustainable seafood cooking and consumption.
Under the direction of Myryam Auguste, food blogger of the Instagram account @theunsuccessfulcookbook, you will have the chance to cook and taste a delicious fish tartare and shrimp linguine. You will also have the chance to meet and learn from experts on marine wildlife! Kayla Menu-Courey, an Expert from Ocean Wise Seafood, will be teaching about sustainable seafood systems, how to make sustainable choices, the reasoning behind each Oceanwise recommendation and much more.
