Anasophie Vallée and Kelly Snarby worked together to create the Deep Blue Conversations podcast as a way to highlight and share conversations with members of their community surrounding diversity, inclusion and climate change in the environmental sector.

Deep Blue Conversations is a podcast that amplifies the voices of ocean champions while promoting diversity, inclusion and tackling climate change in the ocean sector. Join us as we embark on this incredible journey, engaging with experts, researchers, conservationists, and enthusiasts from around the country. Through in-depth interviews and thought-provoking discussions, we’ll explore the challenges facing our oceans and the innovative solutions that are shaping our future.
What was your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge when taking on this project was getting accustomed to the equipment and recording/editing process, as well as making sure that we have researched enough prior to an interview.
What was your most valuable takeaway?
Anyone, no matter their background, can get involved and make a difference in the environmental sector. All skills are valuable skills and it is always possible to find ways to utilize your own skills to help work towards ethical, sustainable environmental solutions.
