A bit about me:

Hi there! My name is Kelly-Anne Snarby (she/her). I am a university student at Memorial University, currently studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies and a minor in ocean sciences. When he was younger, my dad moved to Newfoundland from a far north fishing community in Norway called Tromsø. His family moved here to be a part of NL’s fisheries. Our oceans and fishing are essential to both sides of my family, that is why I am here with Ocean Wise! I want to be able to advocate for our oceans and great lakes to preserve them for not only the future generations of my family but for future generations of our planet!

What gets me out of bed in morning?

A big cup of coffee and my dog, who has a bit too much energy!

A fun fact about me:

I love to paint. I once had a painting of mine put up at city hall in St.John’s!
