Project Description

Welcome to Marine Matters Now, your platform for sustainable living and a healthier planet. We’re passionate about positive change through simple actions. Our focus: showcasing the benefits of reusable water bottles to reduce plastic waste and our footprint. Every refill ripples globally.

I distributed BPA-free reusable water bottles to Halifax residents and visitors of all ages, empowering them with a tangible tool to combat plastic waste. Inside each bottle, ocean-themed stickers inspire a sense of connection to our oceans. The included business card features a QR code, guiding to an engaging website brimming with insights on reusable bottles’ advantages and a comprehensive resource list for ocean conservation.

With numerous views, the Marine Matters Now website sparks meaningful change. We’ve fostered a community, shared knowledge, and amplified our reach. This project unites practicality with education, inviting everyone to be a steward of our oceans.

In the heart of this endeavor lies the understanding that even the smallest actions can catalyze meaningful change. By embracing reusable water bottles, we’ve taken a step towards a cleaner environment and healthier oceans. It’s about taking responsibility for the impact we have on our planet and recognizing the interconnectedness of all life.
