Mairi-Jo Musgrave

Project Lead

A resource guide for teachers who want to run an environmental club but do not have the time to research and plan projects and activities.

Project Description

This resource guide approaches environmental education from a modern persective. Rather than discussing issues as seperate topics, the goal is to emphasis the systems that govern the environment, social structures and policies. It includes topics such as climate change, pollution and social injustice.

Ocean Wise is based in the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We work across Turtle Island and beyond, supporting Indigenous peoples in their vital work on ocean conservation and biodiversity whenever possible or as we are invited to.
