Ocean Wise Ambassador – 2023 Eco-Action Accelerator Cohort
A bit about me:
I fall neatly into the “nerdy athlete” characterization. In university, I designed my degree plan to study the emerging field of environmental microbiology. I also love to be physically active, whether that be in competitive sports or enjoying a leisurely stroll on the beach. It’s a combination of these two passions that has inspired my interests in ocean conservation.
What gets me out of bed in morning?
The alarm clock going off every 10 minutes for 1-2 hours.
A fun fact about me:
My favourite living thing is a coccolithophore. A microscopic soccer ball in the ocean with the carbon capturing might of a giant. Now, if that isn’t fun, I don’t know what is.
