A bit about me:
Hello! My name is Alissa, I am from the Toronto area but moved to Inuvik most recently. I did my Bachelor’s Degree in International Development and Environmental Studies, and am pursuing a Masters in Environmental Sustainability. I have always been passionate about climate action and loved spending my summer in the Yukon at the Kluane Lake Research Station learning about the hydrology of the area and what makes water so cool!
What gets me out of bed in morning?
A good smoothie can definitely convince me to get out of bed!
A fun fact about me:
I am a certified boat captain and can Masters Limited License for vessels under 60T. I worked as a boat captain and tour guide at Lake Minnewanka for three summers, and I love spending time on the water!
