Welcoming Dora Boylen-Pabst as Vice President of Philanthropy and Partnerships
July 16, 2024 – Ocean Wise is pleased to announce the addition of Dora Boylen-Pabst to its Executive Team. Dora brings over 27 years experience in the non-profit sector. An avid traveler, who is happiest on or by the ocean, Dora is excited to join Ocean Wise and start a new chapter of learning and engagement for the benefit of our oceans.
Dora has held her CFRE designation continuously since 2001, has her Certification in Board Governance, is certified by the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) and holds her National Certificate in Not-for-Profit Management.
On her new role Dora comments, “I am beyond excited to begin my journey with Ocean Wise. As a follower of their whale tracking and sustainable seafood programs for years, to be a part of making it all happen is an opportunity I simply could not resist. I invite my network to check us out and be a part of restoring and protecting our oceans. Frankly, we have no choice but to step up!”
Prior to joining Ocean Wise, Dora’s roles have included Vice-President of Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation and North York General Hospital Foundation, and CEO of Headwaters Healthcare Foundation. Since 2021 she has held the role of Partner, Vice-President, Ontario and Senior Consultant with Global Philanthropic (Canada) Inc., and has supported organizations of all sizes, and in all sectors, across the country.
