The Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown is Finally Back!
After a two-year pause, Ocean Wise is thrilled to announce the return of Canada’s favorite sustainable seafood celebration! The Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown is coming back to both Vancouver and Toronto this October. Get ready to eat, drink and cast your vote!
Chowder Chowdown is set to feature a host of accomplished chefs, ready to battle it out for the title of 2023 Chowder Champion. Each chef will be serving up their signature ocean-friendly chowder, complete with Ocean Wise Recommended seafood. Attendees will have the chance to sample each chef’s delectable creation and – at the end of the night – cast their vote for this year’s People’s Choice Award. Plus, perfectly paired craft beverages will be available with each chowder.
Chowder Chowdown offers a firsthand experience at how easy eating sustainably can be. It’s both a chance to enjoy sustainable seafood, as well as an opportunity to connect with local chefs and sellers dedicated to the health of our ocean.
Each ticket to this event includes access to all chowder stations as well as complementary craft beverages. All proceeds from Chowder Chowdown directly support Ocean Wise and their work ensuring a healthy ocean for generations to come.
