A bit about me:
I’m originally from Southwestern Ontario and moved to St. John’s NL for my undergraduate degree at Memorial University, where I double majored in Geography and Sociology. From there I completed an MA in Geography at Brock University where I researched intersections between tourism, logging, and community in Algonquin Park and the Algonquin forest, as it related to planning for sustainable futures. I have also lived seasonally in British Colombia, where I worked in outdoor education and as a paddle instructor – this is where my passion for facilitating and fostering impactful outdoor experiences really began! My academic interests surround unique geographies, human environment connections, and looking at ways to do things differently!
What gets me out of bed in morning?
The sunshine!
A fun fact about me:
I was once teaching a paddleboarding class when a pod of orcas swam by – pure magic!!
