Project Description
We are an elementary Ocean literacy and citizenship program where we go in classrooms and teach students about the importance of our marine life and the threats they face using presentations and workshops!
What was your biggest challenge?
Having the initial outreach to teachers and the back and forth of emails!
What was your most valuable takeaway?
Seeing the student’s reactions when teaching about our own favourite marine animals and also their end results of the interactive activities we plan for them like art projects or short stories.
