Patrick Duke

I am from the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations) as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda in Calgary, AB. Currently in my PhD studying how the ocean mitigates climate change and is impacted by human emissions. I am driven to implement more sustainable practices across industries and sectors, as addressing climate change requires unprecedented changes in all aspects of society. I am also a sustainability leader in my community, focused on training people to combat climate change through art, policy, and innovation.
