Join us for an accessible shoreline cleanup!

We’re teaming up with Neil Squire Society to kick off National AccessAbility Week 2026 with a cleanup designed for everyone!

This free event includes features to welcome participants with physical exceptionalities and neurodivergence including accessible porta potties, visual guides, and an adaptive technology tool library demo from the Neil Squire Society. Bring your friends along to this free event, learn about accessibility, and participate in a shoreline cleanup.

We’re also so excited to share that this project was spearheaded by one of our Ocean Action Grantees, Rahul Chadha!

Ocean Wise is based in the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xÊ·məθkwÉ™y̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and SÉ™lÌ“ílwÉ™taÊ”/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We work across Turtle Island and beyond, supporting Indigenous peoples in their vital work on ocean conservation and biodiversity whenever possible or as we are invited to.
