Our next step is to build on this momentum by reaching out to elected representatives and relevant decision-makers. We’ll be asking Hon. Julie Dabrusin, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada, to begin efforts to expand the plastics ban to address items such as coffee cups and lids, which increased by 19% in 2025 compared to 2024.
