Ocean Wise Staff – 2023 Youth to Sea Cohort

A bit about me: Tyler Cunningham completed his undergraduate degree in Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism and a Masters in Social Justice Studies from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay,
Ontario. He is passionate about conservation, accessibility of green spaces, and watershed
management. Tyler has worked in a variety of outdoor environments including the Royal
Botanical Gardens, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, and the City of Burlington (Parks
& Recreation). Currently he is an Advisor for the Hamilton Conservation Authority assisting with
projects in the watershed. Born and raised in Hamilton he has been a keen explorer since he was young.

 

What gets me out of bed in morning? 

Going on a great adventure, and finding a cool new spot to see!

A fun fact about me:

I have two different coloured eyes.
