A bit about me
An ocean-related issue close to my heart is overfishing and coastal tourism. My most influential memory of the ocean is visiting Busua, a fishing village in the Western Region of Ghana in 2019. Here, I learned to surf and spent a wonderful few days exploring the coast. I’m excited to be a part of Ocean Bridge because I have a background in marketing, communications and tourism. But I would like to use those skills to help advocate for oceans, wildlife and sustainable tourism.
Tell us something random about yourself:
Belugas are my favourite marine animal as we have a large population of them in Northern Manitoba.
What gets me up in the morning:
Coffee & playing pickleball.
