Alex Leroux

Alex is a communications specialist by day, photographer by hobby, and climate enthusiast through all of her work. In her personal and professional life she is drawn to projects and initiatives that aim to better the planet. Through her work she has travelled to the Greenlandic and Canadian Arctic, as well as the West Coast of Canada in various media and photography-related roles. In her free time, Alex loves to take on new challenges and learn new things. During the pandemic, this has looked like learning how to rock and ice climb, canoe-camp, re-learn how to ski, amongst many other things. Her newest initiative has been joining the Ocean Bridge Advisory Committee where Alex hopes to bring in her experiences as an Ocean Bridge alumni and as a communications specialist, and is excited to broaden her network in the ocean world.
